HTTP error on image upload

After trying almost all of the suggestions in that thread, I have been able to upload files less than 100KB and am still getting the error on everything over 100KB.

The site shows 8MB, my wp-config shows 64M, and my php.ini shows 256M.

have you discussed this issue with your hosting provider?

Yep, they keep telling me that there is something wrong with the upload script within WordPress. At this point, I’m just confused and have no idea where to go next.

I temporarily renamed the plugins folder after disabling all of them. Also re-uploaded wp-admin and wp-includes and am still receiving the same error. Any suggestions?

Tried adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’ to wp-config with no success. Was told by host that mod_security isn’t running.

Also, when I use the browser upload instead of multifile, I am redirected to a “Page not found” page.

After finally getting to someone at my hosting company that would listen to me that the issue wasn’t within WordPress but was on the server.

My issue was with mod sec. Something in the new version 3.5.2 triggers it.
