    Hi there,

I’m getting a HTTP error when I try to upload a new image to the media library. It seems to upload relatively quickly according to the progress bar, but then never gets to the crunching part.

Not sure what’s going on. Images are definitely not too large (around 90k)

I recently had a problem with permalinks and re uploaded some fresh copies of WP files, taking care not to touch the wp-content folder.

Wondering if it could have something to do with the .htaccess file? I’m a total novice, so not sure what…

    Any help appreciated. Thank you!

Oh, and I tried deactivating my child theme just in case, and it shouldn’t be the plugins or the WP version because none of that has changed at all since before I had the other problem with my permalinks. Everything else is the same.

    Thanks.

I would check the error message in my web server’s log file, but not sure how to do that…

Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

It was the ol’e mod security issue. My host support was able to fix the problem for me. Thanks once again, Esmi!

Please explain your solution, I’m having the same issue. Thanks.
