http error during image uploading

  • Hi dear,

    I just update my wordpress to 4.3.1 and I start to have this error when I try to upload a jpg image over 1.3MB into the library with marketpress.
    The image upload works if the image is smaller than around 1MB.

    “HTTP error”.

    I read a lots of blogs (some very old) about this problem but nothing worked for me.
    However this problem start to appear after I update to wp 4.3.1.

    Are you able to help me?

    Hi Kash,

    Quick question. Have you checked upload_max_filesize and post_max_size values inside php.ini? Increasing their values should resolve the problem.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I saw that this is a very old bug in wordpress.
    I have found blogs since 2012 or 2011 discussing this problem already.
    Strange that this is still happening with the new wp version.

    Anyway, I could solve the Error by installing the plugin as explained in the blog below. Maybe this could be included in the new wp version?
