    Hi Stephan,

We had been experiencing some infrastructural difficulties which resulted in requests occasionally getting “lost” somehow. When this happens, our API fails to respond, and causes the plugin to wait for the request, and since no response has been received, eventually the plugin gives up. Once the waiting exceeds the max_input_time of the PHP/WordPress environment, the result is an HTTP Error in the WordPress Media Uploader.

We think we have now solved the infrastructural problems. That said, if you still experience this problem then it must be something else. Please shoot an email directly to ksalman at kraken dot io and we’ll resolve this one way or another.

    Sincerely,

    Karim

    Hi Karim,

First of all, love the plugin. It’s great, but we too suffer from this HTTP error situation which is removed by deactivating the plugin. It’s a simple http timeout and we can see it clearly in New Relic. Would be nice to have the option to pass-through if there’s an HTTP error as it really breaks our writers workflow to not be able to upload images.

    BR,

    Markus

We have also been experiencing this problem lately. Any updates on this Kraken?

This is still happening for us too, the timing is quite amusing seeing as Kraken is currently emailing paying customers to offer a $5 credit in return for a five-star review.

same problem here ! please fix. I need to switch off Kraken in order to properly upload pictures.

    Guys,

We’ve been working on creating redundant infrastructure, and have experienced several hiccups in the process. At certain times, our API was down – but we have now worked out a pattern for avoiding such downtime scenarios.

I’m pretty sure you’re not experiencing those problems any more, but if you are, please shoot an email to support at kraken dot io.

@kawaiikawaii – Two of our machines went out of the pool temporaril (for a couple of minutes), but that has been solved now.

We are really sorry for all the trouble.

    Karim

    @karim79

unfortunately the problem still exisits !! have to deactivate Kraken in order to properly upload pictures via the backend. can you please check again.

    Hi,

Could you shoot an email to support at kraken dot it? We’ll take it from there.

    Cheers,

    Karim
