http error 500

Changing the setting allowed us to proceed to the next step but after the categories were set, the feed still does not create as it gives us the following message:

Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.

Also, if you go to created feed, its stuck at 0%.

It probably means the plugin is running into a server configuration limitation. When you check the WooCommerce fatal error log of today you will probably see notifications like “maximum execution time”, “maximum CPU usage” or “maximum memory usage”. This is where you can find those WooCommerce fatal error logs: https://woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/

When you do find notifications like the one above you need to increase the server settings for it.

Alternatively you can also try lowering the batch size of the plugin from the default 750 products per batch to a lower number, lets say 250 products. This is how you can do so: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/

Hello, your suggestion helped me move on to the next page which is category but it now freezes and gives 500 error after that page when trying to collect our product info. We tried batch size of 200 and still no good. When we go to the “uploaded feed” page and reload, it freezes and does not go beyong 1 or 2%.

Did you check your WooCommerce fatal error logs of the last few days to see what is in there? Can you share the content with us?

The fatal error message shows nothing related to your product actually.
I could see several ‘CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted…’ errors about some other plugins.
