I imagine that you cloned a snippet containing a named function, which is causing an error as you cannot have two identically named functions in PHP.

To solve this, you should enable safe mode, login and deactivate the clone snippet, and then disable safe mode.

Let me know if you have any problems.

    Hi Shea,
thanks for this explanation, this gives me the correct understanding of what happened.
I was not able to go into the save mode, because on my server are more than one WP Systems installed and i couldn’t figure out in which directory i have to modify the wp-config.php.

Because it is a network installation with currently 5 active websites, i entered as network admin and firstly deactivated the plugin, what gives me the chance to make the website public available again.

But i was not able to access the snippet code.
I deinstalled the plugin, what wasn’t really a problem, because i just started using snippets.
After reinstallation the plugin, i wrote the necessary snippets again and now it works.

Your explanation gives me a clear understanding of how to handle the cloning!!!!

    Thanks for your support.
    Best Regards,
    Roland
