HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found
-
Hi, I am new to WooCommerce and having an issue with the REST API call. I installed WooCommerce plugin on my development box then trying to post a coupon to WooCommerce but getting HTTP Error 404.0 – Not found error. I can create orders and coupons within WooCommerce but when I try to use a subscriber customer/secret key to POST the coupon or GET order, I keep getting http response 404. error.
BTW – I noticed that wp-json subfolder and it subsequence subfolders were not created after installing WooCommerce. I created them manually and hoping that would solve the problem and it does not…
Below is my Postman snippet:
POST https://127.0.0.1/wp-json/wc/v2/coupons/
I have the customer key and secret in the Authorization section defined. I set Content-Type to application/json. Body is set to: {“code”: “15off”,
“discount_type”: “percent”,
“amount”: “15”,
“individual_use”: true,
“exclude_sale_items”: true,
“minimum_amount”: “100.00”
}
I received below response from POSTMAN. Could you shed some light to help figure where is the problem?`<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN” “https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd”>
