HTTP are not respected under HTTPS

  • HTTP are not respected under HTTPS.

    If you look at the end of the page here:
    https://www.peopleinside.it/link/

    There are link to Steve McCurry website who is not HTTPS website.
    In your plugin the URL is saved correctly is HTTP but if I click on that URL from that page I AM moved on HTTPS website where SSL is not supported.

    Same issue for the first link under Salute “Medicitalia”

    How I can solve this issue?

    Is a plugin bug?

    OK the issue is present if in the Affiliates link is active “Default Cloaking”
    I must disable this and I have done right now and the issue is solved.

    So just to alert you the issue is this settings if is activated in a HTTPS website and link are not HTTP.

    If the issue will be fixed I will consider to change back this settings.

    Maybe as all URL are forced to be HTTPS the redirect as is using my domain is forced to put HTTPS… so maybe I cannot use this function.

    If you’re forcing HTTP links to become HTTPS then this will indeed not work for you right now. I could look into the possibility to redirect via JavaScript which might fix this problem.
