    On the settings page you give the following option

    if a “text-line” field looks like a link (begins with “http” or is an email address) make it clickable

    This works fine, but some of my members give their website as https://www.website.com

    Could www be picked up in addition to http and https

    If you want them to be able to create a link without the “http” or “https” you need to use the “link” form element type, it’s not possible to automatically link an incomplete uRL like that.

    Or, you can use the “help text” to tell them the must include the protocol for the link to be clickable.
