I’ve updated the Advanced Page Visit Counter to the latest Version 4.0.0.
My website started to crash from the WP-dashboard with an HTTP 500 error. After I reload it loads fine.
Every other time I click on something I get HTTP 505 error. Reload and it works. Rinse&repat.

I tracked the problem through deactivating plugins, it seems that the Advanced Page Visit Counter is the culprit. It works fine without it.

    Please help.

    Thank you for contacting us.
Yes, We have implemented some new features to keep dashboard updated.
If you are using any caching plugins please clear the cache and check it again,
and also refresh the permalinks after updating the plugin.

    Thanks.

I’ve done all that to no avail. The problem still exists. Should I downgrade to some older version and which one?
Will it keep my current data?
I really like this plugin but I cannot use it like this…

If it will help I can attach debug log and wp-db.php which is pointed by it.

Hm, it seems that I manage to get it working by increasing the memory limit and setting the cache option in the plugin settings on.
I’ll test it some more to confirm that is functioning properly.

But, now I have another issue – duplicate content.
In the same box I have something like this:

    Visitors: 9532
    Visitors: 9532

I’ve located the output in the footer.php, but I do not see duplication there.
    Suggestions?
