http 503 error when uploading images

    Hello im really lost and confused. Not everytime but the lets say 9/10 times i upload an image to my wordpress blog i get a HTTP error alert

    when i try using the browser uploader it redirects me to a 503 error page

    i’ve contacted my host and they are 100% certain its not a server fault

    so i’ve done a few things

    • tried on other installations on the same server
    • created a blank brand new fresh wordpress install
    • tried on a differnt wordpress installation on a different server
    • changed images from png to jpg sized them right down and changes dpi

    when uploading to a site on a different server it works fine, but on any wordpress installation on the problematic server it keeps happening

    okay this could be quite helpful for some people my host have dug up this error

    Hello Matthew,

    We have managed to dig up to this error:

    libgomp: Thread creation failed: Resource temporarily unavailable

    It would be best if You contacted WordPress forums/support with this error, hopefully somebody has already found a solution for this.
