    Hello
I am using Yoast and other plugins (and I have updated to the newest one). I am having http error 500.
After I deactivated all plugins and tested each one I found that the error occurs with Yoast.
Does any one else has problem with it and how do I resolve the issue? I tried to go to Yoast support via github like they said (but was at a loss in posting as I have never used github)

    Hi @mthant,

This could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. Please perform a conflict check and make sure you are running the latest Yoast SEO (5.7.1) and WordPress (4.8.2).

This could be an isolated issue as we have not received any reports of the same error.

Thank you. I’ll try that although I did delete the htaccess file and reuploaded. I will also try updated Yoast plug in.

I have the same problem too.

I am using WordPress 4.8.2 with theme Fluida and Yoast SEO 5.7.1. And once I try to create a new post/page, the website show up with error500 time-out.

And I have tried deactivating Yoast SEO and the problem is gone. So I think this is a problem with Yoast SEO. What should I do in order to solve the issue? Thanks!

I tried deleting HTaccess but the result is the same. Apparently, Yoast response was my problem is an isolated incidence. I use parallelus Salutation theme.
It looks like Yoast is not compatible with certain themes.

I have the same problem with Yoast SEO in combination with WordPress 4.8.3

The error occurs on one single page within my website.
When deactivating Yoast, the page is working…

Then it is not an isolated problem like Yoast think. Hopefully, they are aware of the problem.

I am disable all other plugins and select default WP themes for test. Php version 7.1

Page add post or add page loading with error 502 or 500. When we update php to 7.1 page loading very slow 30-40sec.

This is happening to me, too. When I try to update my “About” page, I get a HTTP 500 error. I can update all the other pages just fine. I disabled all other plugins and reactivated them one by one and it’s definitely Yoast causing the error. I’m on Purity theme.

A 500 error is too generic to troubleshoot. To know the root cause of the issue, we need additional information. Enabling debug on your WordPress websites should give us the specific error.
