HTTP 500 Error

    We are seeing this 500 error on our site:

    [Wed Apr 24 12:29:51.279818 2019] [php7:notice] [pid 26422] [client 134.106.87.67:20738] WordPress database error Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’ bytes for query UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ‘a:511689:

    The max_allowed_packets can not exceed 16M and the total value appears to be exceeding that amount. Looking over the data it seems like it’s related to this
    pardot plugin, which seems to be trying to update an option value with a large serialized array for all pardot accounts.

    Is there a way around this?
