    Hello,

I installed a very simple but effective protection with htaccess and htpasswd files in wp-admin.

Is installed, activate and set-up a Max Mega Menu. When I tried to access on the site, the home page, not in admin, I have a request for user name and password. That means the plugin tried to access to file(s) in wp-admin.

Could you give me the file(s) names that the plugin access, so that I can (perhaps) exlude these files from protection.

    Thanks

    A. Philippe

    Hi,

If you check out the page source you’ll see a call to admin-ajax.php, which is inside wp-admin. This is used as an entry point into WordPress to load the CSS for the menu.

If you go to Appearance > Max Mega Menu > Global Settings you’ll see some CSS output options. If you change that to “Output in head” it will load the CSS directly into the page instead of through admin-ajax.php.

    Regards,
    Tom
