Html view keeps scrolling to top

Continously or once every x minutes? Could be the Autosave function.
Search the forum for Autosave; there is a way to lengthen the interval.

Continuously. like after 4 or 5 seconds. I am writing something and it will scroll me to the top. it doesnt seem to be autosave. while im working in Visual view, it Autosaves, but no problem like this one.

Was there never a fix for this. I am having the same problem. I am not sure how to fix it, but it makes it impossible to edit posts in html view.

Full description is that when I switch to html view of my post, while editing the post scrolls back the top. Dont know what else to say.

One temporary fix I found was to increase the size of the edit window so it was large enough not to have scroll bars. But this will get very inconvenient for large articles.

There’s nothing “weird” about it, happyches. It is just the result of a few minutes brainstorming by an intelligent and experienced software engineer. If any of you suffering from this problem would like to help validate this workaround, please follow up the above “this guys workaround” link where you’ll find the original workaround and a suggestion as to how you might help us to refine it.

As to a fix, that is an apparently long-overdue task for WordPress.
