    at the risk of becoming a pest, for which i apologize in advance, i’m not sure the html markup is valid

    using the 2013 theme and i see the doctype is being set to:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    not sure if that’s optimal, but when i validate, the validator is using html5 and i’m seeing a lot of what may or may not be errors – see:

    i know the html ‘standards’ can be a bit anal and don’t always conform to real-world situations, but i thought i’d let you know just in case

  • The attributes u, t, t2 the validator complained about are custom attributes used by the slider to manipulate the images, so don’t bother yourself about those attribute errors , the slider need those attributes, none negotiable. But as for the alt attribute for the img tag, I am thinking providing option for users to set that attribute for each image file on the plugin admin page, it will also be good for SEO.
