HTML tags stay in headlines

  • We’re using Google Alerts as RSS feeds to pull news from various sources, and I’d just like to let you know that, google alerts puts <b> tags around the keywords you set the feed up for, this plugin keeps those <b> tags in the headline of the post. The headline should be filtered out.If i can figure out where in the code that can be added, I’ll post a fix.

    if the headline has words that you want to filter out (but keep the headline and the items, that would be done in the excerpt_functions.php file. If you want to get rid of all posts that have certain tags in the headline, you could use the filter on the category tab in the admin pages.
