html tags on excerpt

I love this theme. Its simple but best one. But i have a problem, i want ct_ignite_excerpt() to show the effect of html tags at the front-end if i have maintain it at the backend post editor. Suppose: if i have made my first word bold at the backend then i want it to be shown as it is at the front-end while using ct_ignite_excerpt(). Instead, it shows plain text now. I have set front-page for latest posts where posts are listed with excerpt.
