I am using the pricing tables plugin to actually display a comparison between products. Each column for one product, and I match the rows so they all show well-aligned.

It worked well to add HTML tags like links and images in the old interface, and they were all rendering fine.

Today I noticed that these tags are displayed as they are written in HTML code, on the page, and not as content, as they should.

I call the tables by using their shortcuts. Is there anything changed so that this content is no longer supported? Must I say, I do not have Gutenberg installed on my application.

    Thank you.

    Hi Becosfx,

We have made an update now to better handle the tags.

Maybe you can try downloading the latest version of Easy Pricing Tables and let us know if that fixes your table now.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    All the best.

I hope it will come up for auto-update because I don’t want to mess things up by deleting and reinstalling it. How long it takes to be available for WP auto update?

    Thank you!

The last update solved the rendering of SOME html tags while others are removed altogether. For instance, a div tag placed in the name field in legacy editor, is removed, actually not deleted from the name field, but not rendered at all, including the div content, in the browser. Another type of removal, or better said, not rendering in the browser, are the shortcut codes from Shortcodes Ultimate plugin.

I don’t understand why things can’t be as they were before regarding whatever content is placed in the tables. Do you think this can be fixed soon, or should I look for another plugin?

    Thank you.

    Hi Becosfx,

Thanks for getting back to us.

WordPress requested that we make the plugin more secure to avoid someone being able to take over the plugin and run malicious script and HTML.

We intend to release another update shortly so that users can manually add a filter to their theme and then allow some HTML tags to still run.

Feel free to get back to us if there is anything else.

    All the best.

I don’t understand. I can place any HTML and [ Shortcuts ] in the content of the wordpress just fine. Why not in your tables?!
