html tags dont get transferred

    Hi

    I got the plugin to work directly but so far its very underwhelming

    if I press translate it simply deletes ALL HTML tags, Bold, links, even line breaks
    why?

    its so much effort to re-do all of that and an automatic translation plugin should do less work than more

    any solution to this problem?

    It shouldn’t do that.
    The whole content is taken from the editor and sent to DeepL for translation, then put back in place.
    There is little modifications (mostly to avoid double line breaks that DeepL likes to insert) but nothing regarding html tags.
    What kind of editor do you use ?

    i am using the classic editor instead of the new gutenberg

    however my website is also a multisite set up

    That’s strange. Could you send a sample content ? ( my nickname at gmail)

    I have had the exact same issue, also with the classic editor!

    Everything is translated but all my line breaks, bold tags and any other html disappears.

    This used to work well before, can’t remember exactly when it stopped working. Am on the latest WP.

    Could you send a sample of the content ?

    Thanks, just mailed you an example. I noticed when looking at the code that the html tags are there, but the translation removes the white lines, so all text in the translation is then displayed in one long paragraph.

    Actually solved by 1.5.5.1 (minor correction of line breaks for classic editor / text view)

    Looking forward! I see it’s not available yet from www.remarpro.com but I have the plugin set to auto update…
