HTML Support for Links

Hello,
Is there a way to allow links in the signature without BBCode? I tested a few html tags like
<strong>, <i>, etc.
and they worked fine. However, the link tag like
<a href="">Some Text</a>
doesn’t work. If this can work without the extra overhead of BBCode support, that will be GREAT!Thank you in advance for the help!
