HTML stripped, no formatting in output

Hi, I like the idea of the plugin but am concerned that formatting shown in the WYSWYG isn’t what appears in the outputted page. <p> and <br /> tags are being stripped, but <table>, etc. and

, etc. are working.

I’ve seen this concern in other Support queries but haven’t seen a solution offered.

Thinking that it might be theme related I tried to use the Raw HTML plugin. That kind of worked — it held the HTML but also displayed the [raw]..[/raw] shortcodes.

There seemed to be a suggestion that the Pro version might include HTML formatting but I didn’t seen that in the list of features. Any help? Advice?
