HTML search form

Hi, if you’re outputting the search form via a theme widget area you could use the Widget Options plugin to limit the search widget to the home page.

No, not through the widget. I want to display on the main page – first the search form, then the content. I think it’s best to use a shortcode, but I can’t do it.

It’s a bit beyond our free support scope but you can use your child theme and output the form via a theme action hook.

Alternatively, to use a shortcode you’d need to create one first https://wp-mix.com/wordpress-shortcode-display-search-form/.
