  • Hi Oshber,
I’m wondering if you ever found a fix for this issue? I’m having the same problem and am not finding a solution.

    Hi Tonny,

We had to use an alternative.
We asked our WHM to direct all our non existing static pages like html, php etc. to a custom made 404 page that resembled our genesis 404 page.
    Hope this helps

Unfortunately this is not something controllable within WordPress. This plugin’s 404 page only displays if:
    1) WordPress loads, and
    2) WordPress can’t find the page you’re requesting.

Your server is not loading WordPress when an .html page is requested, so the plugin never gets a chance to run.
