HTML page instead of whatsapp message

    Hey!

    I have a problem when I click the whatsapp button and after that the message button. I’ll get an html page with css on the desktop version. On mobile it all works fine can you help me?

    Please, update the plugin to the latest version.

    I have the same problem. I already try everything and only the HTML is visible

    If you look at your web wame.chat the same HTML error happens

    Can you tell me what browser you are using?

    In my browser “Chrome / Mac” there is no error, it works “wame.chat” and also “eritek.nl” because in my browser it makes the call to the API and not to the WEB

    WhastApp me always opens WhatsApp API, but in some SO/browser this don’t work.

    If you prefer to directly open WhatsApp Web on desktop, add this code in your functions.php:

    add_filter( 'whatsappme_whastapp_web', '__return_true' );

    This problem is addressed in our first FAQ.

    Hey thanks for the reaction and solution!
    The problem came when I installed the new version (that’s what I thought).
    So I tried an earlier version but it didn’t work either.

    I guess it was a problem at Web Whatsapp cause now it’s working again with the new version of your plugin.
