When using the shortcode to create a site map page, the resultant site map is as expected BUT does not show the page hierarchy from the actual menu. For example, if Page 2 is a sub item of Page 1, it would be nice if the site map showed it.

    Thanks.

    Hello @kwilsonccaicom

Page hierarchy and Menu hierarchy are two separate concepts in WordPress. We’re actually following the Page hierarchy – parent / child relationships set at the page level.

The latest version of our plugin (v1.0.28) actually allows to set a custom page hierarchy, similarity as Menus. It’s available in the ‘HTML Sitemap Order’ box. Expand the post type you want to reorder, and then using drag&drop you can re-arrange the pages.

Please give it a try and let us know if it works for you. We would appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks,
    click5 Team
