HTML output email broke

    It seems that the HTML markup in the emails is broken. How the registration email should look like:

    Name
    John Doe

    But instead I see the following:

    Name<br />John Doe

    I can’t remember changing any files, settings or code. Just the regular wordpress and plugin updates. Does anyone have a similar issue and know a way to fix this?

    Hi @fyja,

    Can you please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> Emails section -> your Welcome email and check layout in visual and text tabs.

    All looks good to me in the previews.

    The tags {submitted_registration} are converted to the data the user gave but like i said above it doesn’t arrive properly in the email inbox. Didnt changed from email provider so that shouldn’t be it.

    Any thoughts?

    Well, after digging through the settings I finally found the culprit. It was a checkbox which unchecked itself. Kinda weird but it works now.

    Ultimate Member → Settings → Scroll to bottom of page → [ ] Use html for email
