HTML not working and conflicts w Optimizer theme

Really buggy here..

Not sure if it’s something with my setup, but I’m
using fairly common plugins and themes and it’s really buggy.

Most importantly:

1) Strips HTML tags, makes a complete mess when switching between
HTML (‘Text”) and Visual editor (see screenshot below, the closing
tag gets removed, even when I type it into the HTML editor and
save it, then I check my site and the HTML is ignored and turned
into normal text. Then I check the widget and see it’s indeed converted
into normal text part of it is completely removed)

2) Issues using it with the live editor on the Optimizer theme (also see screenshot:

I can barely use it. Most of the buttons and fields can’t be clicked
as it doesn’t focus on it so instead it thinks you’re clicking on
the site beneath it
(I’m contacting them to see if it’s something on their end)

3) Some plugin shortcode buttons are not there while they’re there in the
normal post/page editor.
