• Hello,

for some reason lists that are created in the text editor or via the WordPress toolbar are not shown on the page itself.

Ordered Lists (<ol>) work, but unordered lists (<ul>) are simply ignored.

It used to work on my page, but now it is not shown on any page that had unordered Lists. I did not update or change anything before I realised there was this issue

  • You don’t specify which editor you are using, what version of anything, or whether it is showing in the editor or on the front end.
You can use the browser Developer Tools to inspect the page and see if the <ul> is in the source of the page, or if it is hidden with a style.

    Hi Joy,

    thanks for your quick help.
I am using the classic WordPress editor in the newest version of WordPress.
It is not showing in front end, but is showing in back end.
It can also be seen with the developer tool.
I rechecked. The problem only seems to appear on safari.
Firefox and Chrome seem to work.

Is it possible that you have the wrong syntax and some of the browsers show it anyway, while Safari does not?

No, I checked it many times.
Plus, the list even disappeared on old posts where it was shown a month ago or so…

You would probably need to post a link to the site so other people can see what it is that you’re talking about, and where these lists are supposed to be.
