HTML layout displayed instead of WordPress GUI

  • Hello.

    Have just installed WP and instead of getting the WordPress GUI layout, I’m getting a HTML layout with HTML links version of the index page. Had to use an older version due to technical limitations on the server.

  • See if you have a file called “index.html” or “default.html” on the WP root, if yes, delete that file.
