I have this language that shows up at the bottom of my pages, except for my Blogs page.

    You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b>
    <blockquote cite=""> <cite>
     <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <strike> <strong></p>

How do I get rid of this language? [email redacted – we don’t provide email support] Thanks for any help you can offer!

  • It seems there’s a sysntax error ‘hiding in the dark’
    Go to
    https://validator.w3.org/
    https://www.w3schools.com/web/web_validate.asp
and enter your url to check for errors
It will help you to locate the problem[s]

You’ll get a list of problems, some more serious than others. Start with the problem you mentioned above.

I tried using the validator website you sent, thanks. I’m such a newbie that I couldn’t figure it out when I got an error code, so I simply switched my Theme to Twenty Eleven and bingo! Code gone. I’m happy with this resolution. This is for my website, sewswiftly.com.
