First of all thank you for this free plugin, it’s great!

I am just wondering, is it possible to disable the excerpt and use the full post content instead for the portfolio post ‘og-details’, or at least re-enable some HTML tags in the excerpt for styling.

I tried editing the plugins ‘responsive-gallery.php’ and ‘rcpig-shortcode.php’ files, but couldn’t find a direct reference of ‘the_excerpt’ that could be exchanged with ‘the_content’ and any changes I tried to make to other mentions of ‘excerpt’ broke the portfolio. Unfortunately, my PHP knowledge is quite bad, so I got stuck and gave up.

Probably missing something and thought maybe someone can help on the forum.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

Thanks for contacting. I’m trying my best to give HTML support in post excerpt. Currently, I’m facing few problems to make this happen due to jQuery. The final output of the plugin is coming from jQuery and I’m little bit bad in jQuery. I made this plugin using a jQuery plugin developed by someone else. I need to learn few things about jQuery before doing this. Hopefully, very soon I can give HTML support as well as more than one categories.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the very late reply, apparently I didn’t have notifications turned on for the thread. Anyways, thanks for the reply! Totally understandable, will wait then and again thanks a lot for your effort on developing and supporting this plugin.

Unfortunately, I am not a pro at jquery either but never hurts to try, so when I have some time I will take a look at the JS too.

    best,
    Sven
