HTML in Category Descriptions

Friends I’m new to WordPress, need your help with HTML in Category Description, I’m using Allow HTML in Category Description plugin by Arno Esterhuizen.
It’s working fine with WordPress default themes but in my custom theme some HTML tags are not working properly. I’m trying to create a list using:
ul li tags
It shows perfect in default theme but in my custom theme it doesn’t show bullets.

What part of theme should I check for this problem, please let me know if you want me to share theme files here.
