I have had code like this
    <p><center>Jan Anderson <br />
    Fibre Art</p>

in the caption of some of my images for a few years now. But just recently (only the last weeks or so), any new images or changes is clearing out the code. Is there a different way I should be doing this? I want the artists name bold and to force their art discipline to the next line. If I don’t update any image, they are fine.

    Thank you,
    Mary

We made a change a few weeks ago to prevent the injecting malicious code into the caption field. That however prevents the display of the HTML code. In the latest release, 6.1.1, some HTML tags are now allowed: br, em, hr, i, li, ol, p, s, span and table.

Thank you for answering, eventually. Unfortunately, the seemingly innocuous bold or strong, is wiped out. I hope that will be returned, but at least I have my <br/> for now.

    thanks.
