html import 2, Retain filename as slug

In the HTML import settings, I see the option to ‘Preserve file names’ which is set. When I complete my import of html files, my posts have been created using ?p=#####. Is there an additional step to retain the file names as my slugs?
I’m using v2.4 of HTML Import 2.
