• Hi all

I’ve been using wordpress for a while and have set up several blogs with ease and success.

Now I’m at the stage where I want to do websites using wordpress. I thought I would start with my old portfolio site.

    https://www.baldmandesigns.com/

I basically want to keep the look the same, but able to edit it using wordpress.

Because I want to keep the site the same, the main problems I can see are.

    • getting rid of the ‘blog’ side bar on the right
    • having an animation/intro page, before going to the REAL index page
    • the javascript menu

I know the code for my site is alittle backwards, and I can do a lot better now.

I was after links about having the splash landing page, then go to an index page (with no sidebar) and then no side bar throughout the rest of the site.

If anyone has seen anything on my site, and feels I will have a problem in an area of it, I’d appreciate any help telling me how I can solve it.

    About to take the plunge.

    Terry
