html function playing up

  • Hi guys, I don’t seem to have the html funtion working. I am trying to edit a post and the html function is functioning the same as the visual function. It’s weird because the html function on all the other posts are working, sometimes it comes alright but as soon as I do anything with inserting a video or image it goes haywire and sometimes doesn’t show anything and when I go to full screen it doesn’t show anything from either visual or html and when I go back to normal screen it seems to have wiped out the whole post until I hit undo. Have any of you guys come across this?..Grant

    I had the same problems when I tried to embedd a video into an article. Make sure that you copy&paste the video code into the html, otherwise the code of the videos makes some “trouble” in the non-html view ??

    Thanks for that Panther8, that’s what I might have to do from now on. WordPress doesn’t seem to be capable to do some of the things it says it can, might also try something like xsitepro, surely I wont get the dramas I get using that than wordpress. Thanks again..Grant
