    Greetings.

Just got this plugin and I’m really liking it. I’m very close to purchasing the full bundle for the full featured invoicing in WordPress. The only thing I’d say is that while invoices can be displayed in templates and adjusted to fit themes, I’m finding the nofitication emails lacking in professionalism.

Loosely following this thread, I attempted to edit the plugin files(which I’d rather not do) to enable html content type so I could use html to change the layout using table and also to display images, however I was not able to get it working.

Also having links contained in <a href=""></a> instead of the entire string being displayed would also make it a little more professional.

Is this a feature being developed in the near future?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

currently wp-invoice email templates are really simple and allows to use text email only. If you need to use a bit advanced email templates then you can connect WP-CRM plugin which allows to customize emails with html.

    Hey, thanks for your reply.

I have got WP-CRM connected as well. I can’t see any option to integrate the WP-Invoice email settings in with WP-CRM.

If I understand I need to add New Invoice as a Trigger Action, however I’m not sure how to achieve this. Do I need to add the ‘new invoice’ trigger action to my functions.php somehow?

    Thanks.

Have you got any video tutorials?

    This option in WP-Invoice https://screencast.com/t/HATEnisC3TSf

    This is on WP-CRM https://screencast.com/t/DlNzWgAr

Yes I found those, however there is no Trigger Action for sending a created invoice notification, hence why I thought I needed to add them in.

After connecting the plugins I still only see:

    User Registration
    WPI: Invoice Paid (Client Receipt)
    WPI: Invoice Paid (Notify Administrator)
    WPI: Invoice Paid (Notify Creator)
    Example Shortcode Form

    Thanks

Ah, you need trigger for invoice creation?
I need to check the ability to add custom. I’ll let you know.

    Thanks.

Sorry, but currently there is no any hook you can use to trigger invoice creation notification. We probably will add it in future.

Now the only option is to use built-in notification UI manually https://screencast.com/t/NKadZJX8xH

    Howdy,

    Thanks for all your help.

I have added html to the content type of the headers in the plugin files and added my html layout into the boxes for sending notifications. It’s not ideal but it’s working and allows me to continue using your plugin and purchase the addons.

    Thanks again.
