HTML editor not showing post

  • I have a page that is showing the first line of each block of text beginning in the last line of the previous block of text. So rather than having a line of empty space between each block, they are all crammed together. When I go into the html or visual editor to look at it, the editor only shows about half the text that is actually on the page, and it looks fine in the editor. Anything anyone can tell me would be really helpful.

    Have you tried:

    -deactivating all plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?

    If you don’t have access to to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue?

    If you don’t have access to your admin area, then access your server via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    I deactivated plug-ins and that wasn’t the issue. I changed the theme and I’m sure it is a theme-specific issue. I’ve tried editing several places on the “style.css” for my particular theme, including every area I could add padding to or increase the bottom margin and nothing seems to be working. All I’m really trying to do is add spaces between the posts.
