HTML editor not populated

When I use the Rich editor in WP 2.0 and have started writing a post, clicking on the HTML button pops up the HTML editor empty. The text from the currently edited post doesn’t show up in the editor.

Is this as should be by design?
If not, does anyone her have the same problem or a solution.

It happens that I want to tweak some HTML markup after I’ve already started writing.
