html codes

  • Hi,
    Whenever I write a blog post, WordPress is ignoring the html codes that I have put in.
    For example, if I want to have a line break I type <br> and when saved, it is removed and replaced by &bnsp and if I want a paragraph I type <p>… </p> and this is also removed.

    I don’t understand why this is happening. I would appreciate an explanation of how this works?

  • Which editor do you use to edit the content of your page? From your description it doesn’t seem to be a modern editor like the Block Editor, because there you normally don’t have to write any HTML code.

    By the way, your page has a problem loading single files, which seem to be loaded via the domain https://pxi5df.p3cdn1.secureserver.net. Maybe this is related to a move of your project. Please check your settings in WordPress. Maybe you have to adjust something somewhere or search the database with Better Search and Replace. But this has nothing to do with your editing problem I think.
