html code is deleting when pressing update

  • My user is set up as an administrator. However, when I update any page that was created by the system administrator login, all code is deleted when I press “update”. Why does this happen? I have all of the same settings as the system admin. I should not have to use the system admin login to constantly make changes so the code doesn’t delete.

    Any help on this would be nice.

    Make sure that you are using text editor instead of visual when you are adding HTML code.

    Thanks, wphostonline. However, I am using the text editor. I primarily only you the text editor. Every time I make a change in the text editor and click update, all the code disappears, on every page I have tried. This has been happening for about a week.
