• Hello,
I am using YOP Poll for a survey and it works perfectly. I have included it as a widget in the sidebar. But now I use a translation service. This one can’t translate the poll because the shortcode is replaced only on the page. If I embed the survey as HTML, then it works. But: somehow the code is not complete. Is there an output as HTML code in the plugin?

    Regards
    Markus

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello

Unfortunately adding html code for a survey/poll won’t work because it has a hidden token that’s being generated every time a poll is displayed.

And without this token the survey/poll won’t work.

Can you let us know what translation service you are using so we can take a look and see the options they have?

    Hi,

    thanks for your answer.
I use Gtranslate Pro. The GT-Team have checkt my problem, but they can’t solve it.
I have copied the HTML code of the survey from the page and pasted it into the sidebar (HTML widget). This way the survey is then visible, but it does not work. If I use only the short code, then the survey does not appear at all.

    ??

it’s probably because the shortcode is expanded after gtranslate runs…i’ve got a similar problem with notification emails being sent with unexpanded shortcodes:-\
