Hi there, ‘target_blank` is used to tell browsers that you want to open a link in a new tab or window. I would suggest deleting that link from your content and then adding it back in.

Just in case you are not familiar with that procedure, my way of doing it is to put in the text I want to be a link, then I select (highlight) that text and then click the link button and enter the URL and click Ok. That should properly link the text. If you wish to have it open in a new tab/window, check that box “Open link in a new window/tab” box before adding the link.

    Hi Sacred,

In fact, it’s not a link, it’s only a simple text like below :

Good : Systeme de Management de la Qualité
Bug : Systeme 974/” target=”_blank”> de Management de la Qualité

You can view this site on live : here

    Thank you ??

Bonjour, as sacredpath said, there is some stray HTML with your post content. If you’re having trouble seeing it, I’d suggest switching the post editor from the Visual Editor to Text view, and you can edit out the stray HTML there.

    You’ll see something like this:

Ce cours permet aux participants d’acquérir ou de renforcer les connaissances nécessaires à la mise en ?uvre du SMQ (Système de
    <a target="_blank" "="" lile-de-la-reunion="" www.jca-institut.com="" http:="" href="https://www.jca-institut.com/2012/10/19/le-management-ile-reunion-<a href=">974</a>
/" target="_blank">Management de la Qualité) avec la norme

You’ll be able to edit out the bad HTML more easily there.

    Hi Kathryn,

    Preview : Here

Thank you for your reply, i have analysed and it’s still the same problem. There is somthing with the text “Systeme de Management de la Qualité”, it seems that the bug stick on that text always.. As you can see on live site, every text “Systeme de Management de la Qualité” has the bug.

Do you think, a hacker has did something inside the theme editor ? ??

I’ve checked again with SEO settings and Metadata, it looks ok, now the problem perhaps found with this theme ?

    Regards.

The next troubleshooting step I can suggest is temporarily deactivating your plugins. See if the issue goes away – if it does, try reactivating them one by one to find the culprit. You could also do the reverse – deactivate one at a time and check your site in between each.

I doubt this is a theme-related issue as the theme doesn’t mess with your post content. ??

By the way, that screenshot does not look like the regular HTML editor in WordPress – where is that coming from? This is what the HTML editor looks like:
