I love your plugin, so far. I’m considering going PRO, since it seems so well-built.

I’ve run into one hitch, though. I have our events page with HTML Before and HTML After. The After hasn’t disappeared from the page (so it’s still in the database), but when I go to Settings, only the Before is still there. I’m afraid that if I save the Settings, it will remove the After from the database (and so from the page).

There’s nothing odd about the HTML…it’s a UL with images and links in it.

Have you run into this before? Any idea about what to do? Thanks!

After copying the source for my HTML After, and saving the Settings page “as is” (that is, without the content in the After textarea), my fear was confirmed: it disappeared from the page.

I’m concerned that my client will screw this up…so I’m hoping there’s a fix for it. Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues. When you add content to the After HTML field does it not save at all? Or it is removed later?

On my test site I added content to both and it showed for me, saved correctly, and when revisted the settings it was still there.

Can you see if you can follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that helps narrow down the issue:

Also for you point about hijacking a link, I do not believe it is possible for a plugin to do as your describe, yes the plugin writes rules to own that link, but have deactivating, resaving your permalinks would fix the issue as the plugin is no longer active to make those rules again.

    Cheers
