.htm links

  • There are a large number of links to my wordpress site, some of which are in the form of

    https://sitename/pagename/

    and others are in the form of

    https://sitename/pagename.htm

    right now the former pages are working but the latter are giving 404 errors But when the site was first created and tested both worked fine.

    What has changed? What can I do (possibly something in the .htaccess file?) to have both link forms work again?

  • Can you post a link to your site? You should probably rethink your approach since WordPress is dynamic and all .php pages.
