.htaccess root and installation directory

I have some new lines in the installation .htaccess like this:

BEGIN LSCACHE LITESPEED WP CACHE PLUGIN - Do not edit the contents of this block!

I like know if that lines of rewrite need be in the root or is correct in the installation directory

The documentation no is clear, in cache always misses:

In define(“LITESPEED_CFG_HTACCESS”, “/domain_path/.htaccess”); you need put the root or installation directory? Why no put one example?

Something like:

define("LITESPEED_CFG_HTACCESS", "/public_html/.htaccess");

But that line give error
