Htaccess redirection is necessary?

    Hi!

    I have recently installed the free version of the plugin and everything seems to work fine. I wanted to know if it’s also necessary to make a redirection using htaccess or CPanel. I have seen that today the vists were lower tan usual and I was worried about SEO but I did the configuration in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

    I recommend to enable the .htaccess redirect in settings/ssl. This improves the speed of redirection, but does not have any effect on SEO, as the default wp redirect is also a 301 SEO friendly redirect.

    Visits should bounce back after a couple of days.
