Htaccess – redirect main address to subsite (subdirectories Multisite version)

Hi,

I have my site set up for Multisite with subfolders, and have been using a subfolder site to develop my new site design. I now want to make that folder the homepage for the site – that is, when people go to domain.com, it will redirect them to domain.com/new, which is the name of the subfolder site.

I tried [[ DirectoryIndex index.php/new ]], but that didn’t work. What’s the correct way to write this?
