htaccess problem while saving setting

  • hi,
    install> done
    activated> done
    modify,save setting> error
    Error: Can’t write to your .htaccess file (make sure the file exists)

    how to fix this?
    can you show me where is htaccess in this error message?
    on public_html?
    or
    on folder public_html/wp-content/plugins/secure-hidden-login?

    htaccess file is exist on public_html

    Make sure the .htaccess file is writable by PHP, this typically means 644 permissions on most servers, but you may need to temporarily change it to 664 and then change it back after updating the file.
